A Tamed ferret is produced by feeding 1poultry meat to a Wild ferret, captured in the wild with a Small game trap. Multiple feedings may be required to tame it. If you click on the ferret in your inventory, you will have the option to tell it to "Follow" you, which spawns it in the world. Both tamed and untamed ferrets can be stored in a Pet House.
